About Me

By now, you may be thinking “Well, just who in the heck are you anyway?”  My name is Anne, nice to meet ya!

I am a stay-at-home mom who actually lives in Vancouver, Washington, but because Portland is only minutes away and it’s a little easier to identify than Vancouver, Washington (whenever I say I live in Vancouver people automatically think I’m in Canada).

Online, I am also known as LiberTEAS not just because of my tea reviews (some of which you can read at the SororiTea Sisters blog), but because of my previous work as a purveyor of unique, fine-quality teas that I created and sold online.  Last year (2010) I decided to close the business to make more time for my family, my writing and my art.

Yes, I am also an artist!  I am a mixed-media/altered arts artist.  You can check out some of my work on my Art Journal blog, as well as my Flickr.  Some of my work is available for purchase in my Artfire Studio.

So what makes me qualified to critique these restaurants?  Well, put quite simply:  I love to write and I love to eat.  My dream job is to be a food writer – so that’s what I’m doing.  The pay isn’t great (err… it’s non-existent at this point), but, it’s what I want to do.  I hope you’ll enjoy reading about my food journey as much as I enjoy the trip.
